Brenda Lee Pearson

Brenda Lee Pearson is a passionate advocate for gender and social inclusion. She has implemented international development activities that target women, girls and vulnerable populations in more than 40 countries on behalf of USAID, MCC, World Bank, and the United Nations World Food Program. Earlier in her career, she was one of the original staff that launched the International Crisis Group during the Balkan Wars and was a scholar-in-residence at the United States Institute of Peace.

Ms. Pearson is a graduate of Macalester College. She holds a master’s degree in economics and international relations from the Johns Hopkins University – Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
