Erick Gonzalez is an accomplished strategist and development expert with a passion for creating social impact and driving innovation. Before taking the role of Innovation Architect, Erick worked as Partnerships & Engagement Lead, actively exploring new opportunities to address urgent challenges for both people and the planet through strategic partnerships and collaborations. He works closely with the CEO, Presidents, and in-country leadership, representing Pathfinder externally, and plays a key role in developing and executing strategies that contribute to Pathfinder innovations.

Erick joined Pathfinder after his tenure at CLASP, a global non-profit organization focused on improving the environmental and energy performance of appliances, lighting, and equipment. From 2010 to 2018, Erick managed strategic initiatives, business operations, and business development strategies at CLASP. During this time, he successfully executed complex partnerships and initiatives, ensuring efficient decision-making processes for the CEO and board of directors. His efforts resulted in increased funding and the successful launch of impactful climate mitigation and resilience projects.

Erick’s entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and profound understanding of global development challenges position him as a valuable asset in fostering partnerships and driving social impact. His ability to design and implement effective funding, communications, and program strategies has been instrumental in achieving significant milestones and creating lasting change.
