Building Bridges: Advancing Gender and Inclusion through the Intersection of Trade and Health
The Gender and Inclusion Summit (GS-23) is a landmark event that will provide a platform for dialogue where critical stakeholders from diverse sectors will reflect on new evidence and contextually relevant solutions to gender disparities to reach a consensus for meaningful change.
With the theme “Building Bridges: Advancing Gender and Inclusion through the Intersection of Trade and Health,” the summit will explore strategies to expand gender-inclusive economic opportunities, bridge gaps to access to healthcare and advance gender equality.
On November 28th, Our side event, Women’s Agency and Health: Navigating Challenges and Driving Inclusion, will explore the intersection of women’s agency, economic empowerment, and health.
By joining forces and leveraging the collective power of the government, development partners, civil society, academia, and the private sector, the summit aims to foster collective commitment and focused action towards gender equality. At GS-23, conversations will evolve from ‘connecting the dots’ to ‘building bridges’ for a Gender-Inclusive society.
The GS-23 will hold on the November 28-29, 2023 in Abuja, Nigeria. The GS-23 will be a two-day hybrid (in-person and virtual) event comprising plenary and side sessions.
