The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Regional Dialogue aims to bring together National Designated Authorities (NDAs), Accredited Entities (AEs), Delivery Partners (DPs), and other GCF partners and stakeholders to accelerate their engagement with the GCF. It serves as a platform for stakeholders to facilitate peer-to-peer learning, share experiences and best practices, and identify and develop climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives. The event will also focus on supporting the development of innovative paradigm-shifting investments and more impactful readiness support at national and regional levels including states in fragility, conflict, and under sanction. By doing so, it aims to strengthen the impact of GCF in the region.
The regional dialogue will feature a series of technical discussions and workshops focused on specific topics to support programming within GCF’s updated Strategic Plan or USP-2 strategy for both private and public sectors. Additionally, it will offer opportunities to strengthen partnerships around project pipelines, support capacity building for AEs, identify programming opportunities, and address national and regional climate change priorities, including those in fragility, conflict, and under sanction.
This regional dialogue also provides a platform for NDAs, AEs, and DPs to share and exchange knowledge and experiences.
Pathfinder’s Tabinda Sarosh, Interim CEO, and Yosra Albakkar, Strategic Partnership Senior Manager, SA+MENA, will speak at this event.
NOTE: This event is by invitation only.
