Overview
In Burundi’s Kirundo province, Pathfinder’s Merankabandi II project supports marginalized communities to adopt healthy behavior and strengthen their capacity for income generation, which builds resilience to unexpected shocks and stressors.
Merankabandi II increases access to a quality maternal and child health services, nutrition, financial empowerment and child protection . It supports the Government of Burundi to increase social security coverage to meet the needs of marginalized communities and households.
