The application of Human-Centered Design (HCD) in public health programs has grown over the years. This has been accompanied by the need to measure the effectiveness of HCD integration in public health programs to evaluate how the process has contributed to enhancing the outcomes of the program. However, when doing so programs that applied traditional Measurement, Learning and Evaluation (MLE) approaches to HCD-led public health programs faced challenges due to HCD’s qualitative, experimental, and iterative nature.
Join HCDExchange for a fireside chat on measurement, learning and evaluation MLE and HCD in public health programs. This event features an expert panel that will discuss the application of MLE approaches along the HCD process in public health programs. The discussion will explore both the challenges and successes that MLE practitioners and designers have encountered when integrating MLE techniques and approaches with HCD.
Pathfinder Tanzania’s MEL Director, Felician Luchagula will participant in the fireside chat.
By the end of this event, participants will walk away with:
- A deeper understanding on the application of MLE approaches to the HCD process in public health programs
- Tangible examples of how MLE has been used in HCD-led public health programs across different phases of the design process
- Future learning areas to further enhance and strengthen the integration of MLE and HCD
- Early access to resources on this topic.
