POSTPONED: Strengthening Community Engagement for Sustainable Sexual and Reproductive Health Outcomes

Postponed: USAID/Uganda Family Planning Activity’s Success Stories and Insights

Unfortunately, this webinar could not take place as scheduled. We hope to have a new date for this important event soon.

USAID/Uganda Family Planning Activity is currently in its final year, and will be hosting a series of three webinars showcasing key impacts and game-changing interventions. The webinars will focus on three key interventions: community engagement, improving access to family planning services, and reproductive health supply chain.

For five years, Pathfinder Uganda and partners have implemented USAID/Uganda Family Planning Activity (FPA) to support the Ugandan government in increasing the adoption of positive reproductive health behaviors among Ugandan women, men, and youth. With funding from USAID, the project aimed to contribute to positive long-term changes in modern contraceptive prevalence and fertility rates in Uganda by 2025.

USAID/FPA has made remarkable progress in increasing access to and awareness of family planning services. The project not only achieved its objectives, but has also had a lasting impact on the communities it reached—enabling women, men, and young people to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.

On Thursday, October 24, join Pathfinder, the Ugandan Ministry of Health, and implementing partners for a discussion on how community engagement improved access to reproductive health services in Uganda. During this webinar, the partners will discuss successes and prospects for scaling up the project’s results.

This webinar will be hosted in English. French interpretation will be available.
