Pathfinder International announces an $18-million award from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the Amplify Family Planning and Sexual and Reproductive Health (Amplify-FP) project in West Africa. The project, led by Pathfinder in partnership with Population Council and the Centre Régional d’Evaluation en Education, Environnement, Santé et d’accréditation en Afrique, is designed to work with the national and local governments in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Togo, serving as a catalyst to accelerate family planning services.
Amplify-FP will organize national and state policymakers, community healthcare workers, faith leaders, and health care providers into interdependent networked learning groups that will be structured around a shared vision of improved family health, leveraging several successful programs in the region.
