Part of a multi-country program focused on advancing health and rights of these key populations: sex workers, LGBTI, young people, women and drug users in Mozambique, the PITCH sex work project advocates for sex workers’ rights. Pathfinder hosts the PITCH focal person for Mozambique, who organizes the advocacy work of the other organizations involved.
Project Activities
- Addressed the legal and health needs of sex workers
- Supported building of the National Sex Workers Platform
- Carried out advocacy interventions surrounding sex workers’ rights and needs, including sensitization campaigns informed by evidence on stigma, discrimination, SRHR, and human rights violations
