PSLV supports Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Health with strengthening primary health services, including family planning and safe abortion care to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage. This project improves the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of young people, women, and couples in three regions of Burkina Faso (Boucle du Mouhoun, Center-Nord and Nord).
Project Activities
- Enhance the skills and capacities of local NGOs and community-based health workers.
- Promote youth empowerment, gender equity, and social inclusion.
- Strengthen health systems to provide high quality safe abortion services.
- Advocate legal and policies that support equitable access to safe abortion and family planning services.
