Her Space is a mentor-led, girls-only initiative developed and implemented by Pathfinder’s USAID-funded Transform: Primary Health Care Project in Ethiopia. This multi-sector initiative works with girls in Amhara, Oromia, Tigray, and Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples regions to help facilitate the transition from adolescence to a healthy and productive adulthood. Her Space seeks to improve personal, social, health, safety, education, and financial outcomes. This brief describes the eight-step Her Space approach and lessons learned.
