Training Service Providers in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health: Developing an Adolescent Competent Health Workforce
More than half of the world’s population is under the age of 25, and most adolescents and youth live in low-income countries. Young people around the world face enormous barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health care, threatening their health and well-being. To meet the extraordinary needs for youth-friendly reproductive health services, Pathfinder International has updated its popular curriculum for training service providers on how to administer youth-friendly reproductive health care. The revised manual provides up-to-date technical content in line with globally agreed upon standards of care, taking participants through an array of interactive activities. This edition also integrates a disability inclusion perspective to support interaction with young persons with disabilities.
