Jerry White shares in the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize awarded to the International Campaign to Ban Landmines. He is a social entrepreneur, author, and humanitarian activist. A Senior Ashoka Fellow, Jerry served three years as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State to launch the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations. He is Professor of Practice at the University of Virginia, teaching a course on Religion, Violence, and Strategy: How to Stop Killing in the Name of God.
