Senior Director, Internal Audit and Compliance
Keith F. Hourihan has extensive experience providing strategic leadership in internal audit and risk management to donor-funded international development organizations and has more than 20 years of experience in internal auditing, compliance, fraud investigation, financial systems and risk management.
Prior to joining Pathfinder, his professional experience includes FHI 360 (2014 -2019) and Development Alternatives, Inc., DAI, (2008-2014) where he oversaw internal audit activities, risk management and internal investigations for regional offices and projects throughout Africa, Asia, Central America & the Caribbean and the Middle East with direct engagement experience in more than 45 countries. Prior to 2014, he worked at several nonprofit organizations in internal control, finance and capacity building. Hourihan began his career with the U.S. Peace Corps, serving as an economic development volunteer in Panama.
Hourihan has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tulane University and completed postbaccalaureate work in finance and accounting at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He maintains professional certifications in fraud examination and internal audit. He is based in Croatia.
