Rannia Elsayed holds a both medical degree and a master’s degree in business administration from the American University in Cairo. She has over twenty-five years of experience working with numerous national and international organizations where she worked in development projects in several sectors with different donors.

Over the years she been involved with multiple international organizations such as USAID, EU,  Mastercard Foundation, International Youth Foundation Egyptian Ministries, ILO, Drosos Foundation, UN agencies and many others.

She has extensive experience in coordinating and managing complex programs in various fields such as health, employment, economic support and education. She has solid project and financial management skills starting from workplan and budget preparation, monitoring and evaluation, formulating and managing teams, to overseeing and guiding project implementation. I have also served as the focal point for different stakeholders including donors and government counterparts. I have dealt with a wide spectrum of matters, starting from personnel issues to high-level coordination among project international partners.

Rannia has also undertaken a number of consultancy assignments, among which was the Senior program Director for Pathfinder International; development of a textbook called, “Pharmaceutical Marketing: A Developing Country Perspective”, and development of a marketing report on peas and beans in Egypt and a research project for Aventis Pharmaceutical Company in Egypt.
