A bold and visionary leader with two decades of experience in the development and humanitarian sectors, Dr. Tabinda Sarosh is Pathfinder International’s CEO.

Prior to being CEO, Dr. Sarosh had been in leadership roles with Pathfinder for almost a decade, serving as Pathfinder’s Country Director in Pakistan from 2016-2022; President of the South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa regions from 2022-2024; and then Interim CEO.

Dr. Sarosh brings exceptional strategic insight and deep commitment to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights and women’s rights.

She is a clinically trained, seasoned public health practitioner, with multi-faceted experience leading sexual and reproductive health and rights programs and research. Dr. Sarosh earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and a post-graduate degree in nutrition from Dow Medical College in Pakistan, allowing her to apply her clinical knowledge of reproductive health to develop public health and advocacy programs. She has worked to advance sexual and reproductive health care for women and girls, including numerous policies related to women’s and girls’ health and rights.

Prior to joining Pathfinder, she worked at the Asia Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women, a regional non-profit organization based in Malaysia focused on ensuring sexual and reproductive health and rights for women, and Shirkat Gah, an NGO in Pakistan focused on gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and women’s empowerment.

Based in Pakistan, Dr. Sarosh speaks English and Urdu.
